Laminated Glass
Triplex glass is a safety glass that is constructed according to the EN12543 standards. It is made of two or more glass sheets that are glued together to one or more interlayers of Polyvinyl butyral (PVB) film. In case of breaking, the shards remain glued to the PVB film preventing any harm from glass coming down on somebody. In a fully framed installation, the shards are retained by the PVC film and the glass endures until the moment of its replacement.
