Anti-Attack Glass
Protect against manual attack and intrusion
Attack-resistant glass systems have to withstand manual impact by burglars using various sets of tools such as axes, hammers or crowbars as well as electrical tools. Glass resistance classes P6B to P8B are determined by the amount of hits executed by an axe in a controlled testing mechanism to create an opening for entry. The main purpose of these solutions is to protect interiors against vandalism or delay an attempted intrusion or extrusion long enough for the police or security services to arrive on the scene.

Keep people safe from explosions
Blast-resistant glass is based on an ideal combination of the rigidity and compressive strength of glass with the plasticity and energy-absorbing properties of polymer interlayers, such as PVB. The classification ER1 to ER4 depends on the corresponding amount of TNT that is simulated in a controlled shock-tube test mechanism, penetrating the glass by the pressure of a real-life explosion. The glass should remain in the test frame to prevent glass from becoming a weapon and harming people on the safe side.

Secure people from firearms
The testing in accordance with the standard EN1063 consists of a controlled, accurate shooting of three glass panes with three consecutive bullets shot in a 120 mm triangle – with the exception of classification SG1. Normal glass impacted by such a force breaks easily into pieces and opens the surface for consecutive shots – don’t take this risk. Precise testing of bullet-resistant glass ensures the reliable protection of the secured side by preventing ammunition from entering.
Alarm-Glass
Protect against break and entering
There are two types of alarm-glass that can protect you from break and entering.
- Protect with alarm wire: Wire loops (alarm wire) inserted between the glass and the interlayer set off an alarm if the wire is broken, due to the pane being damaged.
- Protect with Securit alarm: An electrically conducting wire loop is burnt into the inside top corner of a Securit pane. The loop is connected to the alarm system. If the glass is cracked, the wire is torn and the alarm is set off.
